Biomed 2025
This event is part of the activities of the Kansai Medical University – Ca’ Foscari University of Venice | Academic HUB that was inaugurated on 28 March 2025. The HUB is the result of a strategic collaboration between Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and Kansai Medical University in Osaka. The aim is to integrate medicine, biology, engineering, and biomedical informatics to promote cutting-edge research that supports health and quality of life.
Within this context, I was invited by the organizers (UNIVE’s Flavio Rizzolio and KMU’s Giuseppe Pezzotti) to give a talk about my research activity. I had the opportunity to showcase our research on digital pathology (with UNIMIB), interpretable AI for myocardial strain analysis (with UNIPD), and the research on drug discovery and metabolism prediction performed with DSMN by my PhD student Silvia Multari.
This was my first time performing a scientific presentation in the stunning Aula Magna Silvio Trentin at the Ca’ Dolfin building, nice experience.
