On May 7th, Marie Curie fellow Chiara Gallese and I have been kindly invited by Prof. Uzay Kaymak<\/a> to give two seminary at the Jheronimus Academy of Data Science<\/a> (JADS) in \u2018s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since Chiara\u2019s MSCA revolves around fairness of AI in biomedicine and healthcare, with a focus on non-discriminatory data use and reuse, we decided to propose a dual-seminar on interpretable AI<\/strong>: she discussed the legal issues <\/strong>and the recent developments (e.g., AI act), while I focused on the concrete development of interpretable AI systems (with a focus on our pyFUME <\/strong>project).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was a lot of partecipation from the audience, so it has been a very pleasant experience. On top of that, the Chapel room <\/strong>of JADS is a gorgeous venue.<\/p>\n\n\n
