I am now member of EU’s AI Advisory Forum

I am glad to announce that I have been selected for the AI Act Advisory Forum, an entity established under EU’s AI Act to provide expertise and advice to the European Commission and the AI Board on the implementation and enforcement of the AI Act. On behalf of Università Ca’​ Foscari Venezia, I will contribute on topics related to the application of AI sensitive domains and possible algorithmic solutions.

It is a particularly important for our research group, because we focus on creating novel ethical AI approaches that are compliant with AI Act. We develop novel methods for applications having a positive and unbiased impact to society (healthcare in particular). Europe has the opportunity, the capability, and the duty to steer the world in a better direction. It will be a privilege to contribute to discussions on how the AI Act could and should be implemented in practice.
